The Patrick Ryan show officially left the PA, now I have a severe case of PPDD (post PA depression disorder). Sometimes I go home and realize that I really want to be back to my New Mexico home and other times I never want to leave PA, but every time I know how lucky I am to have such great friends and family. Had a great Thanksgiving day with the family and great food.
The wedding was a blast, it was great to see some of my friends that I haven’t seen in forever but fell right back into old times. Hit up Crickets for some redneck action, the nice part was we could walk there, afterwards the essential trip to Denny’s completed the night. The Friday before the wedding drove down to Philly and hit up the wonderful Chili’s after the rehearsal and dinner with the crazy gay priest. Then came the wedding. I don’t think I have laughed harder in a long time as when I saw Ray try to put on his tux. Yes Ray you did gain more than 1 inch around the waist, having the vest reach 3/4 the way to where it is supposed to with him going “i think we have a problem” almost made me wet myself. The night of the wedding went off really smooth, no incidents and plenty of liquor. It’s not every day when you see Jason Speigel in a construction worker’s outfit doing the YMCA (of which I had nothing to do with until the pictures show up). After the wedding it was back to the bars and someone allegedly stole a children’s menu from the TGIFriday’s but was not me, allegedly. Had a long drive to York to see my goddaughter who I haven’t seen in years…too many of them, and then back to Berwick for some more quality time with the ‘rents before another long drive down to Philly.
All in all one of the best trips home in a long time, makes me miss everyone even more. Wish I could make it home for xmas but having -2 days of vacation doesn’t really help, maybe a trip when it’s warmer than 33 degrees, damn you pa and your miserable weather. and F you Ray for living in Tampa. I will have some wedding photos as soon as someone sends them to me to post. Also Matt and I were able to come up with a new top 10 list of which I’ll post later.
